Difference between Lawyer & an Advocate

A lawyer is a person who has a qualified law degree a law graduate for instance but he can not represent any person in the court room for their legal proceedings.

An Advocate is a person who is also a lawyer and a respected member of the bar of the country. he must have  the certificate of practise which he has got after passing the All india bar examination . Which is mandatory for every lawyer if he wants to become an advocate.
